Hoopla! An Olympic Antidote 13th July

A big thank you to writer and book contributor Alistair Siddons for representing the book and reading  at HOOPLA! a sideways antidote to the 2012 Olympics presented by THE BOW ARTS TRUST, THE NUNNERY GALLERY and TESSA GARLAND / bar, food and event from 6pm.

Alistair and the book introduced an evening of video, performance and other displays of artistic endeavour both humorous and thought provoking including Emily Richardson’s Memo Mori with commentary, readings from Hackney, That Red Rose Empire by Iain Sinclair alongside infamous performance artist Lee Campbell presenting his latest Olympian offering.

Hoopla is a partnership between The Nunnery and Assemble. It is curated and organised by Tessa Garland with support from Rosamond Murdoch.

Hoopla! is free and unticketed. The venue will open from 6pm – 2.30am.
